Training on the topic: “Good practices and experience from Austria” – 11.04.2017

On April 11, 2017, a training on “Good practices and experience from Austria” was held at the Trakia Conference Center, Sofia. The training was organized by the Center “Center for Safety and Health at Work” with the kind assistance of the Austrian Social Security Institute – AUVA, whose representatives were also lecturers on the topic.
Dr Herbert Friezenbichler, an Occupational Psychologist, was the first to present to the audience, presenting the topics “Workplace Stress” and “Workplace Assessment”. All his statements were illustrated with examples from his practice.
In the afternoon session the topics “Work at height” and “Risk management in tunnels” were presented by Eng. Gregor Hohenecker, Construction Expert. Mr Hohenecker presented the implementation of a real project of the Austrian Social Security Institute to inform workers in Austria “8 basic rules for working at height”.
The training was received with great interest by those present, who also expressed their satisfaction with the material and ended with the traditional distribution of certificates to trainees.
